Eligibility

Your vehicle:

  • Is registered and kept in the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, or the Channel Islands
  • Is not a Q registration

You:

  • The proposer, spouse, civil partner, or common-law partner must be the registered keeper and owner of the vehicle

Your No Claims Discount:

  • Can be used on this vehicle and cannot be used simultaneously on another vehicle
  • Was issued no more than 2 years before the start of this policy
  • Is in your name and has been earned on a private car policy

You and All Insured Drivers:

  • Do not require business use related to a driving occupation, such as a taxi driver, courier, delivery driver, or driving instructor

Our car insurance is tailored to you, your car and where you live. The cost of your insurance is determined based on a wide variety of factors, such as age, occupation, car, driving history and so on.

Transferring your vehicle is easy! We already have your details and the details of the drivers on your current policy, so all you need to do is tell us about the new car. Simply call us on 0333 103 9950 and tell us your registration number and we will update your car insurance policy and send you a new Certificate of Insurance.

You can cancel your policy at any time. Please contact us on 0333 103 9950, using Live Chat or by emailing us at service@toyotamotorinsurance.co.uk. Cancellation can take effect immediately or from a later date. Cancellation cannot be backdated to an earlier date.

 

Provided you haven’t made a claim, or one has been made against you, you’ll be entitled to receive a refund of premium less:

  • a charge on a proportionate basis for the period of policy cover that you’ve already received
  • an administration fee which is charged at cancellation as shown in the policy documentation and online

A no-claims discount is a discount you earn on your premiums when you go for a long time, normally a year or more, without claiming on your car insurance policy.
