We are proud to announce our support of ECB grassroots cricket initiatives across England and Wales

Toyota and All Stars Cricket

Toyota will be the first official partner of All Stars Cricket – which is an eight-week programme developed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) which introduces children aged 5 - 8 to cricket.

We will fund thousands of bursary places annually, over the next 4 years, with a total investment of £800,000.

As a result, in 2025 alone, 4,000 children will be able to take part in this programme free of charge.

Local support

In addition to the free places, our dealers will help to grow All Stars Cricket with their local communities.

This will be activated through initiatives like dealers introducing more volunteers and host clubs to the All Stars Cricket programme.

Get Set for the season

We are also proud to become the title partner of the ECB’s Get Set Weekend.

For many years, Get Set Weekend has been a pre-season focal point for cricket clubs to get ready for the season ahead.

It is designed to inspire new and existing volunteers to spend time at their local club and Get Set for the upcoming season.

This year, the Get Set Weekend will take place on 5th and 6th April.

Growing cricket in communities

33,000 volunteers, from 1,600 cricket clubs, have signed up to this year’s Get Set Weekend.

Toyota and the ECB’s ambition is to grow the number of clubs to 2,500 by 2029.

Our dealer network are delighted to support their local community clubs this Get Set Weekend with a pack of essential items, through vehicle provision and by providing volunteer support.

Scott Thompson, President and Managing Director of Toyota GB commented:

"We’re proud to support the ECB’s All Stars programme and Get Set Weekend, inspiring the next generation of cricketers and supporting the volunteers that make club cricket possible. At Toyota, mobility is at the heart of everything we do and, through these initiatives, we’re helping more people enjoy cricket, be active and connect through sport.”

Alex Perkins, Commercial Director at ECB said:

“We are delighted to partner with Toyota as we launch Get Set Weekend and All Stars Cricket this year. Grassroots cricket is the bedrock of the sport and stretches into every corner of England and Wales. Toyota’s support for these fantastic initiatives will bring even more communities together around cricket, and provide even more opportunities for children to develop a life-long love of the game.”
