TOYOTA GAZOO Racing FAQs

Founded in 2007, GAZOO Racing is the motorsport of Toyota. Competing in a wide range of global races, GAZOO Racing allows Toyota to keep pushing the limits of our technology.

GAZOO Racing gets its name from the Japanese words ‘Gazo’, meaning picture or image, and ‘Gareji’ meaning garage. When applied to the motorsport scene, engineers picture individual and unique cars in garages, and hence the term ‘GAZOO Racing’ was born.

Toyota GAZOO Racing competes in a range of motorsport races, including World Endurace Championships, World Rally Championships, World Rally Championships and partnered with Speedworks in the British Touring Car Championships.

Toyota have regional GAZOO Racing dealers for potential buyers of Toyota’s high-performance models, such as the GR Supra, and to provide expert care for the GAZOO Racing range.
