Compact eAxle drive units front and rear deliver impressive torque and traction, while the All-Electric Hilux’s suspension shrugs off rough terrain and varying load weights.

Designed for all-day comfort with complete control, the interior features intuitive multimedia, an ergonomic shift-by-wire drive selector and plenty of useful storage. The AW off-road controls are grouped for easy access to the Hilux’s all-terrain technology, including Multi-Terrain select. Yes, the Hilux will continue to offer the 2.8D 48V diesel engine, first introduced on the current generation Hilux in 2025. The 2.8D 48V system pairs a 2.8‑litre diesel engine with a compact 48V lithium‑ion battery that replaces the traditional alternator. This mild-hybrid setup enhances efficiency and delivers smoother, quieter and more refined performance, particularly during start‑off and acceleration.
