If you ever wanted to buy a Toyota from the comfort of your own sofa, now you can.

Toyota Buy Online allows you to choose the car, model, colour and engine type you want. Add any available accessory pack you fancy and then decide whether to buy outright or take advantage of our finance option to spread the payments. You can even add your old car as a part-exchange to help pay for the deposit.

And once you have made your decision, you just simply pick the dealership you want the car to be delivered to and wait as we build you the car that you chose.

Can I save cars that I have built?

What is My Toyota?

My Toyota is your personal account with Toyota where you can store cars you have built, cars you have bought, service history and reminders, as well as purchase updates for Sat Nav and software.

How do I sign up to My Toyota?

On the Toyota website. My Toyota is represented by a human icon on the top right hand side of the page. Click on this icon and select “sign in/register” or you can click here. Once on the log in page, underneath the red log in button, there is a “I don’t have an Account” option. Click on this and you can begin to register.

Can I buy a car without a My Toyota account?

You cannot buy a car without a My Toyota account as it is needed to complete your purchase. We recommend setting up an account before building your car.

How do I know how much this is costing?

On the right hand side is your order summary which adjusts the price (outright or monthly payment) depending on what you pick when building your car.

What if I don’t want this car?

You can leave the build process at any time.

How do I pay for my car?

There is an initial deposit to pay for every car ordered. To pay the remainder, you can either pay outright either via BACS transfer or use our Personal Contract Purchase finance option. Both payment options are on the top of your order summary.

What is Personal Contract Purchase?

Personal Contract Purchase (PCP), also known as Access Toyota, is a flexible and popular plan that provides you with the option to change your car on a regular basis. You pay your deposit and a series of regular monthly payments and at the end, you can choose to either retain the car through paying the future value price, return the car at no cost or even renew the deal by using your current car as part exchange against a new PCP car.

Can I order more than one car at a time?

You can only order one car at a time but you can keep an eye on which cars you have created through your My Toyota account. If you want to buy more than one car, we recommend you contact your local Toyota dealership.

What if I change my mind about the car?

You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your car.

How long will delivery take?

There will be an estimated time of delivery given to you once you order your car. However, this estimate will depend on a series of factors such as timely completion of the necessary documentation, we may already have your chosen car in stock or we may need to build it for you.

How does the car get delivered to me?

When you order your car, you select a Toyota dealership. It is to this dealership your car will be delivered and you will be kept informed of the delivery time at every step of the process right up to when you pick up your car.

Do I need documents to pick up my car?

You will need a valid driving license (accompanied by a Passport or some other form of photo identification if you have an old style license) plus proof of address such as a utility bill or bank statement.

If you are also part exchanging, the dealer will also need your Vehicle Documents; V5C registration document; MOT certificate (where applicable) and Service book and Handbook.

What if I’m not the registered keeper of my part exchange?

If you are not the registered keeper of the vehicle, you cannot sell it as part exchange.

How does the part exchange process work?

Toyota Buy Online will provide an estimated value for your car depending on the details that you have put in. This value can be used as a deposit against your new vehicle purchase.

What happens if I have outstanding finance on the vehicle I wish to part exchange?

You can either settle finance yourself before selling - Toyota will carry out a HPI check - or, Toyota can settle on your behalf as long as you provide settlement letters to enable us to do so.

What happens if my old car is not as I describe it?

Toyota reserves the right to adjust or cancel a Part Exchange deal if a vehicle is not as described.

Can I take the car for a test drive?

You can test drive a similar model at any Toyota dealer.

What if I am not happy with the car when it is delivered?

You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your car. However, you are still liable for damage or any loss of value during the trial period including excessive mileage.

Do I need insurance when I pick up my car?

Toyota will provide you with three days insurance from when you pick up your car, giving you time to arrange your own insurance.

What if I cannot afford my repayments?
