You can charge using a standard domestic socket (3-pin plug), this is the slowest method. For faster, more efficient home charging, a dedicated wallbox like Toyota HomeCharge is ideal. It offers features such as Smart Charging via the MyToyota app, so you can charge when energy prices are at their lowest.
On the Go:
When you're out and about, you’ll find thousands of public charging points in convenient locations like supermarket car parks and retail parks. For longer journeys, rapid and ultra-rapid chargers at motorway service stations provide the quickest way to top up your battery.

Charging your Toyota bZ4X is simple and convenient. You can charge at home, at work, or at public charging points while you’re out and about. Charging time depends on the type of charger you use.
At home, the easiest option is a dedicated home charger such as Toyota HomeCharge. Using a 7kW home charger, you can charge from 10% to 80% within 7 hours, with a 71.4kWh battery pack*. You can also charge from a standard domestic socket, but this is much slower.
When you’re away from home, you can use public chargers in places such as supermarket car parks, retail parks and motorway service stations. Rapid public charging can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes*.
