Proace Max offers a maximum cargo capacity of 17m³ (EV) or 15m³ (Diesel) and a maximum towing capacity of 2,400kg (EV) or 2,500kg (Diesel).

Loading made easy

With full-height doors and big, square-shaped loading apertures, the Proace Max gets the job done faster. For easy loading, however heavy or awkward your cargo, the loading threshold is set low at just 531mm.

Open for business

Access to every corner of the load bay is easy. The full-height side door slides well out of the way, while the rear doors open a full 180°, for a loading aperture 1562mm wide and up to 2030mm high.

Autonomous Emergency Brake Control

AEB Control can detect and help avoid collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. It works by alerting the driver with audio visual warnings and brake assistance. If the driver doesn't manage to brake in time, the brakes automatically engage to prevent or mitigate collisions.

Lane Control

Lane Control is designed to keep you safely centred in your lane automatically. Should you deviate from your lane, steering assist can help gently correct course.

Attention Assist

Attention Assist system monitors driving patterns to detect reckless or fatigued driving. If the system detects inattentive driving patterns, sound and message alerts on the display panel can bring this to the driver's attention.

Cross Wind Assist

Cross Wind Assist works at speeds over 40mph, using careful brake application to course correct and stabilise the vehicle, preventing it from drifting out of the lane.

Moving off and Blind spot information systems (EV only)

The Moving off and Blind spot information systems (EV only) work together to recognise obstacles in the blind side area. The system makes use of mirror LEDs, short range radars, and a camera to help assist in collision avoidance. Visual warnings displayed on the cluster and mirrors help indicate potential hazards in the blind spot.

Post Collision Braking

Post Collision Braking system can intervene in the event of an accident, automatically applying the brakes to prevent secondary potential collisions.

Trailer Stability Control System

The Trailer Stability Control system can detect when the trailer begins to sway and uses torque reduction and wheel braking to bring the trailer back under control in the event of dangerous trailer swing.

Innovative safety systems

The Proace Max incorporates a variety of safety measures, providing audio and visual feedback to assist the driver and prevent potential collisions.
