Toyota Fund for a Better Tomorrow

The Toyota Fund for a Better Tomorrow is a programme of small grants designed to help local charities, schools and community projects. Since its conception we have supported over 480 projects and provided over £800,000 (FY11-FY18).This investment has helped set up environmental gardens in local schools, created wildlife and conservation sites, encouraged technical and engineering education for young people as well as supporting road safety awareness programs. We have also supported social-focussed projects aimed to benefit health and wellbeing.

Applications can be made through Centres, Staff or by Community Organisations who are locally based to our Head Office in Epsom, Surrey.

Such an initiative allows us to reach communities based all over the country, and support our Centres in their efforts to enrich and improve their local area through charitable support. It also supports our engagement with organisations local to our Head Office in Epsom, Surrey. We are dedicated to giving back something to the area in which we work.

How to use the fund?
Applications can be put forward by retail centres on behalf of projects in their local community, individual Toyota and Lexus staff members, or directly to the fund from projects local to Toyota GB’s Head Office in Epsom, Surrey. They must fit certain eligibility criteria and then will be marked and scored by the CSR team to determine the level of allocated funding. Please see details of the following case studies:
