As part of the Olympic and Paralympic partnerships, in the United Kingdom Toyota supports Team GB and ParalympicsGB, helping to tell the inspirational stories of each team’s athletes, and supporting their respective goals of turning inspiration into activity in the UK public. With ParalympicsGB, Toyota is the lead partner of Every Body Moves, an award-winning initiative that works to empower disabled people to become active in a way that is right for them.
Drawing on the lived experience of disabled people, Every Body Moves is an evolution of Parasport powered by Toyota platform. Every Body Moves has grown to become the nation’s largest online destination, connecting people with thousands of inclusive sporting and physical activities. https://everybodymoves.org.uk/
For the three years leading to the Tokyo 2020 Games, Toyota also supported Team GB’s I Am Team GB participation programme which saw Team GB fans hosting their own events, attending local activities, or joining in with one of the Hero events around the UK alongside Team GB Olympic athletes. Ahead of the Paris 2024, Toyota will again support Team GB to deliver a new initiative to provide more opportunities for people across the country to get active.
Toyota is also the Official Mobility Partner of Special Olympics Great Britain. We proudly support inclusive sport and the charity’s mission to create more sporting opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities across England, Scotland and Wales.
