1. The Promoter
The Promoter is Toyota Financial Services (UK) PLC, Great Burgh, Burgh Heath, Epsom, Surrey KT18 5UZ. (“Toyota Financial Services” or “Promoter”).
2. The prize draw
2.1 The title of the prize draw is My Finance “Register to Win” Competition: the prize is having the remainder of your finance agreement with Toyota Financial Services paid in full, but capped at a maximum payment of £25,000, by registering for the My Finance portal within the entry period.
2.2 The prize draw is free to enter and the winners are selected at random from the valid entries received.
3. Eligibility and how to enter
3.1 To enter the prize draw you must be resident in the UK and be aged 18 or over.
3.2 To enter the prize draw you must be a customer that has received a communication from Toyota Financial Services promoting this offer.
3.3 The following individuals are not eligible for entry:
(1) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, including Toyota (GB) PLC;
(2) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies directly associated with the administration of the prize draw; or
(3) members of the immediate families or households of (1) and (2) above.
3.4 You can enter the prize draw by registering to use the My Finance portal via the following link
myfinance.toyota.co.uk.
3.5 Entry into the prize draw is a sign-up incentive. In order to enter, all registration steps for the My Finance portal need to have been completed and the account validated by Toyota Financial Services within the entry period.
3.6 Only one entry is permitted per person.
3.7 If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when registering for My Finance, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete registration and any incomplete registrations will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any registrations which are not completed for any reason.
4. Entry period
4.1 This promotion begins on 19/08/2021 at 9am GMT and ends on 18/08/2022 at 9am GMT. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
4.2 To be eligible for the prize draw, you must register for My Finance within the specified entry period.
4.3 There will be 3 (three) prize draws in total with 1 (one) prize draw for each of the following registration periods:
(1) 19/08/2021 to 18/12/2021;
(2) 19/12/2021 to 18/04/2022; and
(3) 19/04/2022 to 18/08/2022.
5. The prize
5.1 The winners of each of the 3 prize draws will each have the remainder of their finance agreement paid in full capped at a maximum payment of £25,000 per prize.
5.2 The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
6. Selection and Notification of Winner
6.1 The draw will take place within five working days of the closing date of each of the registration periods set out in paragraph 4.3 above.
6.2 A winner will be chosen by random draw supervised by an independent person.
6.3 Entrants will only be eligible to win once. If a previous winner’s name gets drawn again, it will be discarded and a new name will be drawn.
6.4 The winner will be notified by email, telephone or letter within ten working days of the relevant prize draw. The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner. Entrants must ensure that their address and mobile number are correct in My Finance as this information will be used to contact the winner.The Promoter is not responsible for nor shall have no liability for winner’s failure to receive notices due to email security settings that may cause notifications to be marked as spam or junk email.
6.7 Events may occur that render the event itself or awarding the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and the entrant agrees that no liability shall be attached to the Promoter as a result thereof. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value should this prove necessary.
6.8 The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
6.10 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who writes to the address set out in paragraph 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the relevant draw has taken place. If you object to any or all of your surname and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at Toyota Financial Services (UK) PLC. Registered Office: Great Burgh, Burgh Heath, Epsom, Surrey, KT18 5UZ. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. Claiming the prize
7.1 The prize must be claimed by the person named on the official winning entry submission within 30 days from the time the award notification was sent. The winner can claim their prize by telephoning Toyota Financial Services on the number provided.
7.2 Failure to claim the prize within this period will lead to the prize being forfeited and it will entitle the Promoter to redraw another winner in your place without liability.
7.3 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Data protection and publicity
9.1 Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available on https://www.toyota.co.uk/footer/privacy-policy. See also paragraph 6.10 with regard to the announcement of winners.
9.2 By entering into the prize draw, the winner agrees to participate in a reasonable amount of publicity if asked to do so by the Promoter. This might include publishing the winner’s name and photograph in any media. The winner also consents for the Promoter contacting the winner for the purpose of paragraph 6.4.
10. General
10.1 You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.
10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
10.3 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.4 The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
