Rated 2 out of 5 by from my new hybrid auris - huge disappointment I bought this a few weeks ago and I am disappointed with it. The petrol consumption is not as good as Toyota say, in fact it is very poor around town. I am also disappointed with the fact that the windscreen steams up every few moments when it is cold outside so I have to put the heater and fan on to clear it even when the car is warm enough inside . I hate the Sat Nav and still have not worked out how to use it. I even took my old manual sat nav, Garmin, on a recent drive as I could not work out how to use the in-built one. There are no clear instructions . In fact there are no clear instruction on how to use anything on the car . Rear view mirror is not very good either . Does not give a good view. I dislike the car and wish I had not bought it. I am stuck with it for two years and wish I wasn't .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Auris Hybrid automatic 1.8 petrol I purchased the above car late December 2016. My husband and myself are absolutely delighted. Its effortless to drive and the new automatic gearbox is excellent. This is our 5th Toyota (4 Avensis) 1 Auris and to date the Hybrid is without a doubt the best car we have bought.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Is it black or is it titanium blue? Bought a month ago and only had one motorway trip so far and less than 250 miles covered in total. One irritating problem emerged. The Toyota Forward Collision warning light began to blink on our two motorway trips - to Manchester and back - with the message. "Sensors blocked - Clean windscreen" - which I did, but the blinking warning kept coming. We did drive to Manchester in heavy rain but our return journey was in the dry. I hope this is not a persistent problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth quiet ride with the fabulous hybrid engine This is my 5th hybrid car and it is the most economical of all of them to date. The ride is so smooth and quiet and although not exciting enough of a drive for the motoring mags, I much prefer it to the feel the bumps type cars that they prefer, The Auris it is a very comfortable and easy to drive car with a lot of excellent standard equipment and I am pleasantly surprised at how much brighter the car is with the skylight roof. The dealer was also very good and the salesman very knowledgeable and pleasant but not at all pushy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb car Picked up the car mid October and not looked back. Had a trip down to Windsor and averaged 52.00 mpg. Which ifor a mixture of motorway driving and minor roads is really good and better than any other car I have owned. Had the 1600 before this and think this 1200 with a low ref turbo is faster, accelerates better and cruises on the motorway easier. Only criticism is that even with the air vents closed air still seeps through and in the recent cold spell that is a bit of a bind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and comfortable Have had the Auris Hybrid now for some 5 weeks. I love the hybrid drive at low revs, the fuel economy, the comfort and quiet . Nice touches are the LED lights, self dipping headlights, one touch door opening & closing, heated front seats (on cloth) and of course the rear view camera .The Sat Nav system is clear and very quick to re-calculate the route when departing from the planned route. Only real gripe is the reversing bleeper should be external to the car not internal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expectation exceded. I bought this car 1 month ago and I am extremely happy with it's performance, having had a previous 1400cc engine my initial concern was that it would lack power however as this model has a turbo it picks up speed better than my last car. Vision around the car is also much better than my last car and reversing camera is included making parking easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good car I got my new Auris Hybrid 2 months ago and I totally love everything about it. The size is just right for a family of 3. Husband is really tall but I can still sit behind his seat without any problems and I'm quite tall myself. Very intuitive car, lots of useful features. Beautiful and elegant interior, aggressive look outside. Very efficient on fuel but has a lot of power when you need it. You can switch between eco mode, normal and power mode according to your driving style at the time with just a button. Would definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now on FOURTH Auris and it just gets better Took delivery of new Auris a month ago and very happy with it, although outside temperature reading is to small and shark fin aerial is not as good as on previous models for DAB. Otherwise VERY HAPPY with car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A bit expensive I am very happy with my second new Auris - BUT - there are far too many gadgets to distract drivers and others from the primary responsibility to DRIVE SAFELY. These gadgets are only understandable because they add value (i.e. PRICE) to the package. I do not want to drive around in a mobile office.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great safety features Compared with previous Auris, new model has many improved safety and comfort features. Display of temperature is too small, and driver's information is obscured from passenger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My third Auris and it is better than the first two I have had Toyota's for many years and have had three Auris's and this is by far the best, little improvements on the way, it is a pleasure to drive and very economical.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic car My last car, a Toyota Corolla, was so reliable, I didn't change it until it had well over 200,000 miles on the clock. The new hybrid, however, is a pleasure to drive. It is so quiet in Eco mode, cyclists on the road do not realise you are behind them. Fuel consumption is minimal and I have sometimes managed over 70 m.p.g., but have quite often been in the 60 + m.p.g. range. With a 5 year warranty and 3 years free service, who wouldn't buy one?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Auris a winner all round. The engine may be smaller than our last Auris model but combining with turbo gives you adequate power together with economy of fuel. It takes a little getting used to at first but soon becomes the way you have always driven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very economical I am delighted and surprised at the performance of this 1.2L turbo. I do not miss my 1.6L Auris of last month as my new car is every bit as good with speed and much better with petrol consumption. The Road Tax is just £30 against £130 on my 1600cc Auris. For me, it is a winner all the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Auris Hybrid, highly recommended I am delighted with my Auris Hybrid, which has replaced my nine years old, and much loved Corolla. I had no intention of buying a new car, but my husband bought the Touring Sport version of the Auris and l found it so easy to drive that l decided to make the change, and chose the hatchback version. Driving an automatic is a new experience for me, but after a few days l stopped trying to change gear and haven't looked back. The car is comfortable and feels solid and safe. There are too many excellent features to mention them all individually, but my favourites are the smart entry system (no more hunting in the bottom of my bag to find the keys!), the rear view camera, the satnav and media systems, and the heated seats. I would, however, have liked two rear fog and reversing lights as l had in the Corolla. There seems to be space for them, but they are not connected. A picky point l know, but two fog lights saves any confusion about whether you are following a car or bike in bad conditions. There is also one major thing that l would really like to change, and that is the constant beeping while reversing. It is very distracting and makes the reversing sensors hard to hear. lf the beeping was audible outside the car, l would assume that it was designed to alert pedestrians that the car was reversing, but you can't hear it outside, so what is the point of it? My Corolla did one beep when the car was put into reverse and that was fine. My neighbour has a brand new Rav4 and that does not beep. If there is a way to disable it I would very much like to have it done but, unfortunately, the showroom thinks that it has to stay. That said, l am still very pleased with my car and look forward to many miles of happy motoring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Model from old Model Just receive my new Auris about 3 months ago. I had similar shape however the older model. I had 1.6 litre engine with 132 bhp. Now I have 1.2 litre engine with 115 bhp. As I am a bellringer and do drive a lot on fast and country roads. Even thro this has a smaller engine than older model. It has more power and better pulling power out of the corners. The car is lighter than previous model which give better pulling and on Motorways their no slowing do when you come to any hills. I use cruise control a lot on motorways. Fuel economy is a lot better as now I am getting 370 miles from a tank of fuel. Previous model with 1.6 litre I was only getting 300 miles from a tank of fuel. This is my second Toyota. And would buy another Toyota.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect We bought this Auris Hybrid two months ago, and must say we are delighted with it. We have owned two Prius previously, but much prefer the Auris to drive. We bought the Excel model which included everything, and find it perfect for us.
