The 10th Toyota Dream Car Global awards ceremony took place in Tokyo, Japan on the 24th August 2016.


81 countries entered the Dream Car Art competition in 2016, with 855,371 entries from around the globe. The UK had a staggering 562 entries to the National competition, with 9 UK finalists artwork being sent to Japan.

One of the 9 UK finalists artwork was chosen by Toyota Motor Corporation as a winning piece. 11 year old Denisa Rissa from Bedfordshire was awarded "Best Finalist" in her age category (8 to 11's).

Do you want to be in with a chance of going to Japan next year?
If you'd like to go to Japan next year, all you have to do is paint or draw your dream car and enter it into the 2017 competition when it opens. You have to live in the UK and fit into one of these three age categories: Under 8s; 8-11 year olds; 12-15 year olds.
