The Yaris is one of the most popular cars in the Toyota range and one already available in a variety of different models.  Now Toyota is introducing the Yaris Colour Collection, which will be available in a range of distinctive colours, beginning with Caldera Red.  The car comes with Colour Collection badging, features metallic paint, special interior trim and front grille as well as colour coded bumpers, unique wheel trims and a radio–CD player. It comes with the economical 1.0 litre VVT–i engine and is available as a three or five door.

In other Yaris news, the Yaris and Yaris Verso will also soon be available with a 1.4 litre D–4D common rail diesel engine.  As featured in the previous edition of In Front, this revolutionary direct fuel injection diesel engine produces an impressive 74 bhp and will be available on all grades except for the SR and the T Sport. Expect fuel consumption to be around 64 mpg.
