Every shade and style of Toyota was on display at the Japanese Auto Performance Car Show at Stanford Hall, Leicestershire.  The star of the event, which was held on the weekend of June 23 – 24, was a beautifully restored 1979 Celica Coupé, which won ‘Car of the Show’.   A number of other rare models also made appearances, including a 1966 Corona
2–door hardtop, a 1970 Osaka from Belgium, and an MR2 Spyder imported from Japan.  The event, which was held in brilliant sunshine and was also used by the Toyota Enthusiasts Club (TEC) to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its founding, was judged a resounding success.  The organisers are already planning JAPCS 2002.
