'Crumple zones' at the front and back of Toyota vehicles are ready to absorb the energy of impact and deflect it away from you and your passengers.

You can be safe in the knowledge that Toyota tests every vehicle in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and flooding. Many of the models within the Toyota range also come with Traction Control and Vehicle Stability Control for added reassurance.

Park Assist system in
the Prius assists with the steering wheel operation whilst parking. When the driver sets the designed parking position on the monitor, the system assists the steering wheel, helping the driver to park the car more smoothly. Watch the video below to see this technology in action.

We've developed the Total HUman Model for Safety to assess the impact on passengers during an automobile crash test. Not only is it utilised by Toyota, but researchers from around the world also have been using it to contribute to improved safety performance.

The all new Yaris becomes the third generation of Toyota's supermini to pass through Euro NCAP independent crash testing with flying colours.

Awarded the full five stars for adult occupation safety at launch, the 2010 model builds on a reassuringly safe pedigree.

It's not just popular because it mixes lively performance with great fuel economy and low emissions. The Prius is also a five-star Euro NCAP performer.

It set a record for adult safety back in 2003, and the current model holds the full five stars.
