Motability in conjunction with Motability Finance Ltd, have been supplying disabled customers since 1977.
The full range of Toyota vehicles are available through our Toyota network. The majority of Toyota Centres are members of the Motability Dealer Partnership, for your nearest Toyota Centre please contact 0845 602 1727.
The Toyota Centres that do participate, receive regular business reviews to ensure that the standards set by Motability are being met and maintained. This is now a well established programme, which aims to deliver a quality service to all our Motability customers.
To be eligible for a vehicle through the Motability Scheme, you must be in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA), or the War Pensions Mobility Supplement (WPMS). Anyone who is in receipt of the higher rate mobility component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or the War Pensions Mobility Supplement (WPMS) can apply. Children from 3 years old and non-drivers can also apply for cars as passengers, provided they receive the correct allowance. There are three Motability Schemes you can choose from:
A 3 year Contract Hire Lease scheme
A 4 or 5 year New Vehicle Hire Purchase scheme
A 2, 3, 4 or 5 year Used Car Hire Purchase scheme
New Car Contract Hire
Is available over a 3 year period on selected models and requires the surrender of all or part of your allowance. A non-refundable advance payment may also be required and the vehicle is handed back at the end of the Agreement. This option includes:
Fully comprehensive insurance
Servicing and maintenance costs
Membership of a recovery organisation
New Car Hire Purchase
If you prefer to purchase a vehicle, then the Hire Purchase option over 4 or 5 years is available. Preferential rates of finance are offered through Motability Operations, but you will have to insure and maintain the vehicle yourself. No mileage restrictions apply with the Hire Purchase Option.
Used Car Hire Purchase
You may choose to purchase a used Toyota and again Motability Operations can offer preferential rates of finance over 2, 3, 4 or 5 years. The selected used car must be less than 5 years old and have less than 60,000 recorded miles.
