Hire Purchase

A traditional financing method that allows you to drive the vehicle of your choice and spread the payments over an agreed period

Ownership at the end of the agreement.

Lease Purchase

Flexible finance suitable for business users, you choose an amount to defer to the end of the agreement. This is known as the balloon or the residual value, which becomes your final payment.

Gives your cash flow greater flexibility
Initial capital outlay reduced
Eventual ownership of the vehicle
Finance charges against tax.

This has the effect of lowering your monthly payment or shortening the agreement period.

Finance Leasing

A cost effective option with lower monthly repayments. Finance leasing is another cost effective option offering useful tax advantages - particularly for the VAT registered businesses.

Rentals are allowable against tax
50% VAT is reclaimable on rentals.

There are two forms of Finance Lease, Full Payout and Balloon Lease.

Full Payout

You spread the cost of the vehicle over the period chosen and at the end of the agreement must sell to a third party. You then receive a proportion of the sale proceeds as determined at the start of the agreement. Alternatively at the end of the period the agreement can continue into a secondary rental called "peppercorn" rental.

It allows you to share in the profit (or loss) made on the sale of the vehicle at the end of the agreement.

Vehicles can be treated as a balance sheet asset
You can exchange the vehicles at the end of the agreement for a new one.

Balloon Lease

You offset an amount to the end of the agreement to lower the payments. At the end of the agreement you sell the vehicle to a third party and keep any proceeds of the sale over the amount of the balloon. If there is any shortfall however you have to be responsible for covering that amount personally.

Access Toyota

AccessToyota is a great way to finance your new car. Available on all passenger cars in the Toyota Range (and Double cab Hilux) our Personal Contract Purchase plan is a flexible and affordable way to drive the car you want today.

How does it work?

First, choose the model you would like to drive, then agree the mileage you expect to cover. Then choose the period over which you would like to pay and the deposit, if any that you'd like to pay (up to a maximum of 35%) and you'll get a Guaranteed Future Value for the vehicle with Toyota Financial Services.

This will be your final payment if you decide to keep your car or part exchange the car at the end of the agreement.

Your Dealer will calculate the amount of your monthly payments. These will be more affordable than you might think because they are only based on the difference between the purchase price less your deposit and the guaranteed future value, plus of course the finance charges.

So it could be a great choice if you

Would like to add accessories to your car and add them to your finance

3 Flexible Choices

Plus at the end of the agreement you have the choice of one of the following 3 options:

1 Upgrade - you can part exchange the car for a new one using any excess of the trade in value above the guaranteed future value towards your deposit*

2 Keep - you can decide to keep the car by paying the final payment*

3 Return - you can return the car to us with nothing else to pay, as long as the car is in good order and repair and the maximum mileage has not been exceeded. Subject to fair wear and tear conditions being met.

* With these two options you are responsible for paying a nominal option to purchase fee.

AccessToyota is available on new and certain used passenger cars. This is with the exception of taxis, driving schools and vehicles involved in competition or for hire or reward. Your Toyota Dealer will advise which vehicles are eligible and what conditions apply. Finance subject to status to over 18s only. Indemnities may be required. Terms and conditions apply.

As you'd expect, we only ever use genuine Toyota parts which come with at least a year's warranty. Some even have unlimited mileage warranties subject to normal wear and tear. Plus, only highly trained technicians, who've gone through our Academy, can work on your vehicle.

Manufacturer's Warranty - Mechanical & Body

5 year mechanical warranty: 5 years or 100,000* miles from new, whichever comes first, with no mileage limitation for the first year, this warranty covers any mechanical fault caused by a manufacturing defect.

*Light commercial vehicles benefit from a 3 year/60,000 mile warranty.

12 year anti-corrosion & perforation warranty: 12 year unlimited mileage cover* protects against rust perforation affecting sheet metal body panels as a result of a manufacturing fault; this warranty can be transferred to any future owner throughout the 12 year period.

3 year paintwork & surface rust warranty: 3 year unlimited mileage cover protects against defects and surface rust as a result of a manufacturing defect.

Extended Warranty

A Toyota Extended Warranty offers very similar cover to the original warranty on your new or used vehicle. If a part covered by the warranty fails, we'll fix it, you pay nothing for replacement parts or labour, just routine servicing and maintenance costs.

An Extended Warranty can be taken out at any time in the first eight years or 100,000 miles of your
car's life.

Our warranties are admired across the industry. In addition to a great level of protection for your car you will enjoy some excellent benefits for yourself.

Car hire included: Our Extended Warranties are designed to keep you on the road. If you can't drive your vehicle because a covered part has failed, you can claim up to 5 days' car hire to a maximum of £45 per day (including VAT) after the first 24 hours.

Hotel expenses: If you break down away from home and you can't restart your vehicle, your Toyota Extended Warranty allows you to claim up to £150 (including VAT) to cover one night's hotel accommodation.

MOT test cover: If your vehicle fails its MOT test, a Toyota Extended Warranty protects you against unexpected repair bills. As long as the vehicle is repaired and passes, your Extended Warranty will pay for repairs or replacement of covered parts including labour, up to the vehicle's purchase price. All you have to pay is the original MOT test fee and the first £10 of any repair costs covered by the Toyota Extended Warranty.

Free Club Toyota membership: When you buy a Toyota Extended Warranty you receive free Club Toyota membership for as long as the warranty lasts. This entitles you to the many Club Toyota benefits (including AA Roadside Assistance in the UK and Europe), whilst saving you the normal annual membership fee.

Nationwide repair network: Any Toyota Dealer or Service Outlet will carry out repair work for you under a Toyota Extended Warranty, so you can choose a Dealer of your convenience. You can enjoy peace of mind knowing Toyota trained technicians only fit genuine Toyota parts.

What we ask in return...: You must have your vehicle serviced and inspected by a Toyota Dealer or Service Outlet at least once a year, (or more frequently for high mileage use) as set out in your service record booklet. Following the recommended service schedule will ensure that your vehicle is safer, more reliable and more enjoyable to drive.
